Vascular Breakthroughs was founded in 2012 by Dr. Paul J. Gagne to provide clinical trial support services for a busy Vascular Surgery practice. The goal, at its inception, was to provide a research infrastructure that would enable physicians not affiliated with an academic institution to take part in cutting-edge research. The organization has helped to put new technologies in the hands of physicians, improving access to novel treatments for the patients living in these communities.
